WhatsApp is an expanding, simple, fast, well founded mobile messaging app that is used by over 450 million people globally and has been adding a million users daily in every major mobile platform. More than 1 million people sign up WhatsApp every day and the Facebook announces that it is on its way to connect one billion people soon. Millions of people are dependent on WhatsApp to communicate with all of their contacts.
WhatsApp co-founder and CEO Jan Koum joined hands with Facebook’s board of directors as part of $19 billion deal. They assures that WhatsApp will complement the existing chat and messaging services to provide new tools for our community. As Facebook Messenger is broadly used for chatting with your Facebook friends, and WhatsApp for chatting with all of your contacts and groups of people, so that’s why they have served such different and important uses to continue investing in both and making them each great products for everyone.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook said, “WhatsApp is on a path to connect 1 billion people. The services that reach that milestone are all incredibly valuable. Also added, “WhatsApp will complement our existing chat and messaging services to provide new tools for our community.”
