Reliance Jio has launched its Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer for prime as well as non-prime user just after the cancellation of Jio Summer Surprise offer due to a TRAI order. However, Reliance Jio has increased the tariff of its offer by a marginal Rs 6. Starting at Rs 309, the new plan offers 1GB of data per day and has a validity of 84 days.
Jio said in a press statement that “The plans start with the most affordable Rs309 all unlimited plan, which provides unlimited SMS, calling and data for three months on first recharge.”
Reliance Jio’s non-Prime or new subscribers can take advantages of Dhan Dhana Dhan offer by paying Rs 408 that incorporated the annual sign up fee of Rs 99 plus recharge value of Rs 309. In another plan, Reliance Jio will offer 2 GB 4G data everyday for existing Jio Prime customers for Rs 509. The plan will come into effect on April 15 which is the last date for signing up for paid service Jio Prime.
One major difference between the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and the summer offer is that clients had the choice to purchase recharges of Rs. 999 or higher values – which gave no daily FUP – with the latter, yet there appears to no such choice on the Jio site at this moment.
In an announcement, Reliance Jio stated, “With this [offer], Jio extends the benefits of a superior and advanced technology to take India to global digital leadership. The announcement also marks another step in Jio’s commitment to continuously delight its customers and enable them to live a fully digital life.”
While Jio ‘Summer Surprise’ offer has be withdrawn, users can still sign up for Jio Prime subscriptions till April 15.
