Facebook Rolled Out Free Voice Calls Feature In India – A Treat For Facebook Messengers





Facebook
has now allowed free voice calls from the social network platform for
its Messenger app in India for for Apple iOS and Google Android
platform. The service was rolled out in India almost a year after it
was launched in the USA and Canada. The company has added Facebook
Messenger app, which is a voice calling feature service which works
better on 3G and Wi-fi networks.




The
voice call feature is powered by the Voice Over Internet Protocol
technology, through which users can make free voice calls over the
Internet to their Facebook friends. These will be free calls to
Facebook friends from within Facebook both on mobile and on the main
website.




The
free voice call can only be made only between users who have the
Facebook account or Facebook Messenger app installed on their phone.
To make a free call a user can open messenger there you would see the
“free call” option, select it to make the call.
