Congratulations Sachin Tendulkar To Receive The Bharat Ratna Award



The retired cricketing master and the biggest sports icon became the first sportsperson and the youngest recipient to be bestowed as the highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, by President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan for his 24 years of a brilliant career. Tendulkar was also the first sportsperson to become the member of Rajya Sabha last year.

The little master who began his record-breaking career by playing against Pakistan has now known to his ardent fan as the God of Cricket. Before Tendulkar entered the world of cricket it was just a popular sport but he made it into a religion and became its God. He is a perfect role model for all the youngsters.


Tendulkar dedicated the honour to his mother and all mothers of the country, who have kept aside their personal desires to fulfill the dreams of their children. As once in a press conference he said, "There are millions and millions of mothers in India who sacrifice many things for their children. I would like to share my award with them."

Tendulkar is the most successful cricketer in the world, finishing his remarkable career with a fair mastery of records. He has proved himself as the finest ambassador of India in the world of sports and his achievements in cricket are exceptional, the records set by him are unbeaten and the spirit of sportsmanship presented by him impeccable.

The champion has made every Indian proud with his hard work, dedication and innumerable efforts to achieve new records for India. India gives a moving lap of honour to the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who is our torchbearer; we lived, breathed and enjoyed his escapade as he made every Indian proud. He always made us proud through his wonderful records.

There are players who are ready for the big platform but can't put one touch of rosy sunset into the life of the India, no one can fill his space into the heart of many Indians.

Sachin Tendulkar said“I am happy with the love and affection that I have got over the years. Fortunate to be born in this country. I know my cricket is over but I will continue to bat for India and will give the country a reason to smile”
