Facebook Pixel to Track Action & Page Structure!

The Facebook has updated Facebook Pixel, the tracking and targeting engine. It helps in tracking conversions, optimize ad spends and retarget users. An upgrade to the pixel was just rolled out that will now capture more information, including actions and page structure and data.

Pixel will now send more logical information from sponsor's site to better comprehend and sort the moves that individuals make on their site to advance for advertisements conveyance.

Advertisers will now be able to track actions made on the site. Promoters will have the capacity to track clicks like add to cart, purchase, buy advertisement others. Data sent through Pixel will also include data from page's structure to show signs of improvement comprehension of the setting related with these activities.

If you created your Facebook pixel before April 20, 2017, this new functionality will go into effect on May 20, 2017. For Facebook pixels created on April 20, 2017 or later, this change will take effect immediately.”


This new feature can turned off: “If you'd like to configure the Facebook Pixel to not send this additional information, you can add the line fbq('set', 'autoConfig', 'false', 'FB_PIXEL_ID') above the init call in the Facebook Pixel Base code and the Facebook Pixel will no longer send this additional information”.
