Brainguru Technologies Celebrates World Health Day With Theme On Vector-borne Diseases




The World Health Day is celebrated by the people all across the world, every year on 7th of April under the guidance and sponsorship of World Health Organization (WHO) to gather the attention of the mass to the subjects of global health. World Health Day is celebrated every year on 7th of April and each year a topic is raised that focuses the area of public health.



Focusing on new and emerging health issues, the World Health Day provides an opportunity for individuals in every community to start involved in activities to protect people's well-being that can lead to better health.

The theme of World Health Day in 2014 is vector-borne diseases (Small bite, big threat), to raise awareness both of the diseases and of vectors. Vector-borne diseases are a global public health threat, that are transmitted by vectors such as mosquitoes, ticks, bugs, sand flies, snails and etc which causes malaria, dengue fever, chikungunya, yellow fever and etc.

WHO supports various health authorities on global basis and this time it has raised the awareness about vector borne disease threat to make their own efforts for the public health and to stimulate families and communities to take action to protect themselves and enhance a better life without any diseases. Focused to spread information on the disease and make efforts in finding solutions to prevent and control this disease, that will benefit us all.
